ABOUT ME
As a young seasoned lyricist from Saginaw Michigan known as Nina Ross (Secular Rapper). Nina started rapping at the age of 18 when she began taking part in neighborhood freestyle battles. Often the only female others began to notice the gift of music within her.
Nina signed a production contract December 2003 with Out Of The Gate Productions in Detroit, MI. She completed a demo which lead to an invitation to open for the Ying Yang Twins in Flint, Michigan on February 4, 2004.
On the journey to becoming a well-known rap artist, God began to change her life and the way she wrote music which lead to changing her name to Nina Cross. By October 2004 she began writing rhymes about the Holy Scriptures. Nina Cross became a radio host also featured in a few stage play while building her music portfolio. Nina decided that she needed to rebrand her image and changed her name to Sonesa.
Sonesa's current single King Jesus was released October 29, 2021 and was created to praise the name of the Lord.
It is Sonesa's desire through her music to reach everyone with The Good News.
